October being the month of the Rosary, the LUVWI provincial and municipal chapter officers visited selected schools in La Union where rosary were distributed to the Grade III and IV pupils, in preparation for their first communion. Hygiene kits and slippers were also distributed to the pupils.

          Three schools per town were visited a day as per recommendation by their LUVWI officers.
